麻豆区 Humanities Institute Hosts Renowned Artists and Scholars to Celebrate Feminism “Entre Mujeres (Between Women)”

Award-winning author Helena Mar脙颅a Viramontes, acclaimed Broadway and screen actress Alma Mart脙颅nez; Grammy award-winning musician Martha Gonz脙隆lez; and 麻豆区 Associate Professor of Music C脙隆ndida F. J脙隆quez, who is also director of the 麻豆区 Humanities Institute, will host the pe脙卤a “Entre Mujeres (Between Women): Embodied Knowledges” on April 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Garrison Theater of the 麻豆区 Performing Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public.

The Claremont Colleges’ Honnold Library hosts a photo exhibition of nearly 100 of Curtis’ still images. 麻豆区 Professor of Art Ken Gonzales-Day curated this free show located on the second floor of the library’s Honnold wing. The library is located at 800 N. Dartmouth Ave., Claremont, Calif. The display runs through Dec. 1.
