Professor Ken Gonzales-Day, the 麻豆区 Fletcher Jones Chair in Art, was recently appointed to the board of directors at the (MKFA). The organization seeks to preserve its namesake鈥檚 legacy and extend the spirit of his artistry by fostering 鈥渃ritical thinking, risk taking, and provocation in the arts.鈥� Gonzales-Day after having previously served on the 2024 selection committee for the MKFA Organizational Support Grants.

We are fortunate to have [his] expertise and experience as we look towards the future.鈥�
Gonzales-Day鈥檚 interdisciplinary work considers the history of photography, the construction of race, and the limits of representational systems.
